I had heard about this one-airplane carrier called L'Avion that only has business class seats to/from JFK and Paris. I've been really wanting to check them out, the prices online sound great considering the comfort ($3000/2 passengers). Then when I was about to book, I decide, I'll try calling instead. I get a goofy "mailbox full" recorded message. I try e-mail, get a bounce-back. Are they for real? Is this a scam? Has anyone tried them?

I have never heard of them, but I also don't fly business class much. Why don't you call the port authority at JFK to confirm that they fly out of the airport? If they have a "stall" or whatever its called at a major national airport like JFK, it would be an indication of their legitimacy.
