Kleine Scheidegg train station

Does anyone know if there are storage lockers available in the station at Kleine Scheidegg?? I will be staying in Gimmelwald and want to go up to the Jungfraujock on my way to Grindelwald and don't want to carry my suitcase all the way up to the "top of Europe."

Garry, It's an extremely small train station. I'm not 100% positive, but I would be really surprised if they do have lockers there. Haven't ever noticed any, but I've never lingered there either. Usually hopping off one train for another.

Actually, I think there are lockers up there, at least there were at one time. We traveled with our luggage from Mürren to Grindelwald by way of Kleine Scheidegg (with a detour to Jungfrau joch) and we stored our luggage in lockers there. But that was ten years ago. You could find out for sure by contacting SBB customer service, using the "contact" function on the SBB website. Or call the station: 033 828 78 28 (that is the number for the Kleine Scheidegg station, from the Jungfraubahn website.) If they advise that they do not have lockers up there, you could pay to have your baggage sent from Mürren (not Gimmelwald) to the Grindelwald train station and pick it up there.

Michael, I am aware of that; I checked the website. You'll notice that they do not necessarily list "lockers" under either Services or Equipment, even where we know they exist (compare Lauterbrunnen, which definitely has lockers but they don't list them, with Interlaken Ost, where they do list Lockers under Equipment, and give sizes and cost.). That is why I suggested he call or email for specific information. We did store luggage in lockers there 10 years ago, but things may have changed. We have also used the lockers in Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken Ost more recently.

You guys are really on top of things. Thanks a lot. I have the station's number (thanks) and I'll call them in the morning. I'll post whatever info I find out.
I guess if they don't, I'll attempt to ship it from Lauterbrunnen to Grindelwald via Zweilütschinen or just stay another night in Gimmelwald and skip Grindelwald altogether.

Yes, there are lockers at the Kleine Scheidegg train station. I talked directly with them (actually a very nice lady at the restaurant) by phone this morning. Also, without any prompting from me, she suggested that I "send the luggage around to Grindelwald from Lauterbrunnen" so that I wouldn't have to carry it all the way up to Kleine Scheidegg.
