Hello, I wanted to know if anyone had experience with Kiwi Rail signature tours of New Zealand. The website looks spectacular but what is the real story. I'd like to book a trip with Kiwi Railand think it would help if i got some real world feedback.

I didn’t take one of their tours, but I did book my own rail trip.
I booked a trip from Christchurch to Wellington on the Coastal Pacific Scenic Train and the Interislander Ferry. I included a 3 day stopover in Kaikoura. I planned my own time in Kaikoura. In Kaikoura, I did a dolphin swim and albatross watch with Encounter Kaikoura and both were fantastic.
If you are looking for a tour, I took a 2-week tour with Mondumo in February and it was excellent … one of my favorite tours ever. I would definitely recommend Mondumo.

We were in New Zealand in January and February of this year. I did get a fair amount of help on this forum. Another place you will want to familiarize yourself with is the NZTT facebook page and website. (New Zealand Travel Tips) There are many locals and recent tourists that will offer a lot of advice. The website also has many discounts for excursions.
