I have been reserching online fares to France for July 2008. I have seen everything from $1300 t0 $1700 for coach. Do you think airfare will go down in Jan. or just get higher. i know the price of oil went up just recently. Will that effect prices? Thank you.

Check kayak.com for airfare. Also, it might save a few euros by flying to Paris then taking the TGV to Nice.

It's way too early to buy - wait at least until January. Airlines usually have a "spring sale" in January/February so keep your eyes open. That seems pretty expensive from L.A., even if it is in July.
