Four of us are traveling to Japan for the first time in June, 2026 and are looking for a company that will pick us up in Tokyo and drive us to Oshino Village near Mt Fuji. We're also interested in using the same type of service from Oshino Village to Takayama. We're experienced travelers but are intimidated by the train and bus system, all the transfers and the much more lengthy travel time between these smaller cities. I've found GetTransfer.com but the reviews are spotty. Any information is much appreciated!

I see no replies so I’ll add this…we never made those actual journeys but we have twice visited Japan. Like you I was.also intimated and spent a lot of time fretting and worrying about train and bus travel. It was all a waste of time. The Japanese were extremely -attentive, patient and kind and everyone we encountered offered assistance. Your hotel can help you figure out the system or people at the station ticket desk will guide you about schedules and preferred routes. When we made an error on the subway an elderly woman passing by recognized our distress and dragged an agent to our aid who put us on the correct train and called his colleague at the correct station to watch for us as we got off at the right stop and walked us to the exit. Our helpful lady didn’t speak,a,word of English. Another time, staring at an automated ticket kiosk in confusion several locals approached us and offered help, I did a quick google of your itinerary and it really didn’t seem that complex. Research your train platform and which entrance to enter at Tokyo station (it is huge). You will,find the people very accommodating and kind. We loved our trip,to,Japan., safe travels,
