We arrive in Izmir by air around 16:00. We are staying in the centre of the city. Our hotel offers an airport transfer but it's quite expensive. I understand here are private transfer operators. Any suggestions would be welcome. As we are staing in Izmir for seven days, so any suggestions about tour operators would also be welcome.

High-priced airport transfers sold by hotel operators are a big profit source for some hotels in Turkey. It’s often much less expensive to get an official taxi at the airport. You’ll also have the added advantage of being able to jump into a taxi instead of waiting around at the airport until you physically are able to locate a specific pre-booked driver.
