Paris: Feb 26-Mar 3; Fly to...
Prague: Mar 3-Mar 7; Train to...
Vienna: Mar 7- Mar 9; Overnight train or Fly?
Venice: Mar 10- Mar 12; Train to?
Tuscany / Florence: Mar 12- Mar 18; Train to...
Rome: Mar 18- Mar 21; Fly home at 9:00 AM
Any suggestions on travel options would be great!!
I am not sure what you are asking. Input on what ??? Looks like a reasonable but busy schedule. The decision to train or fly may be a personal preference. If the train ride is more than six hours, we consider flying. Without looks at schedules I don't know if you have equal options on your fly or train. Sometimes a train schedule is more convenient even if longer than flying. We would knock a day or two off of Tuscany/Florence and add it to Rome but that is because we really like Rome.
I guess my main question is the overnight train from Vienna to Venice. Sleeper compartments are $200 for the both of us, and a regular seat is running about $60. Is the extra $140 worth it?
Vienna to Venice - I would recommend a daytime train. The scenery is quite spectacular. I know it takes timne, but at least oart of your visit must be to see scenery.
