I will be in Italy the end of March, and need to travel to Pula,Croatia, or Rabac-Labin, from Venice. Apparently there are no ferries during March from there. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I am not sure if renting a car from Trieste would be a good idea? Thanks!

I haven't traveled that route, but I did a quick Google search entering "bus Trieste Pula" (without the quotation marks) and found timetables showing that there are direct buses from Trieste to Pula several times a day. You have created two identical threads. Since I've responded on this one and there are no responses on the other one, I suggest that you delete that one.

I believe there's one or two buses daily (except maybe Sunday) between Venice and Pula. Bus probably leaves from Piazzale Roma (near train station) and arrives at the new bus station in central Pula. An internet search should turn up the bus company name(s) and schedules. Cost of a bus would be quite reasonable. From Pula, there would be local bus service to Labin (and maybe even Rabac).
