U.K has the Oyster Card pass for travel within London, is there a pass to travel within Italy that I can purchase online?

I have no idea what Steve is referring to with that reference. It doesn't make any sense. The museum pass is useful IF you are going to see the attractions along with the transportation. If you want just transportation you have lots of choices --
BIG ticket is 4E and good till midnight from validation.
BTI is 11E and good for three days.
CIS is 16E and good for seven days. Good for unlimited usage in Rome.
