Italy Oct 20th strike

Hey all,

Wife and I fly into Italy on the 20th and we are taking a train(fresscarosa) Roma terminal to Napoli terminal.

We just realized there is a national strike on this day. Does this mean we need to book alternative plans? We don't want to be stranded in Rome with no transportation when our hotel is in Sorrento.

What about the Leonardo express to get to Roman terminal? Is that affected??

Thank you to anyone who can help.

I was told Fast Trains (Frecchiarossa) are not typically affected by the strikes. It's always good to have a plan B, just in case. We are in Venice now, and need to use the vaporetto to get to the station for picking up a rental car on Friday morning, also the day of the national strike. So I'll be searching now to see if this is included and I also need a plan B, as well!
