My wife ordered our Italy Saver Passes, 2 adults and 3 youth. However I received then with my reservations today. Even when they just use last name and initial I noticed my initial and my wife initial is on 2 of the youth passes and my daughter's andson initials on the adult Saver Pass. Will I have problems, what do I do?
Call the company from whom you ordered the passes (Rail Europe, perhaps?) and ask them to straighten this out for you.
Thanks, I did contact the Rail Europe, the answer was that since there are just initials with same last names and they verify passports and the conductor writes down the number there, that 99% of the time should not be a problem. Then later they call me and to have peace of mind, to return my passes to be corrected. However it transpired throught the conversation that their system is assigning the names ramdomly to the passes sometimes,that could be problematic. Have someone had this problem before and did not have problems in Europe?
