Is there a night train from Budapest to Prague?

I'd like to book a night train from Budapest to Prague but I'm seeing conflicting information. The Hungarian website (www.elvira.hu) shows the Pannonia train leaving at 19:40 and arriving in Prague at 06:14. However, the German railway website (http://www.bahn.de/ which everyone seems to recommend) doesn't show this train. I don't want to have to wait until Budapest to book this, plus I don't want any nasty surprises when I get there. Does anybody know anything about this?

This was (Link posted below) copied from the IDOS site. There is an English version...scroll to almost bottom of page..to the extreme right "English".

I did not find any night trains but found plenty of overnight buses on the timetable.

I would suggest you arrive in Prague during the daytime.

The most direct trains (no changes) are:

  1. Depart Budapest-Keleti pu @ 13:30 and arrive Prague hl.n @ 20.33 - total time 7 hours and 3 mins. Train # EC 278 Jaroslav Hasek.

  2. Depart Budapest0=-Keketu pu @09:30 and arrive Prague-Holesovice @ 16:25. 6 hours and 55 mins. Train # EC 170 Hungaria.

Timetable for Czech trains and busses. This site listed the above trains.

Hope this helps.
