I'll be in Paris soon. Are Metro trains running? Or do I need to rely on shoe leather and taxis? I'll be arriving at Gare du Nord and staying in the 7th, then moving to the 4th. I think walking with luggage is not a viable option. I can walk from my hotel in the 4th to Gare de Lyon. I'm trusting that I will be able to take a train to Nice in a couple of weeks. Who knows? Maybe the strikes will be over by the time I arrive in France.
