Hi,
I was wondering the most economical way to get from Ireland to Paris (where i will be visiting a friend for a few days during my month long trip to ireland). I have found flights for $235 USD from both shannon and dublin, but I was wondering if there was a cheaper way that someone knew of/ or if i should take the deal as is?
p.s. I get student rates if that is of consideration

Did you check for flights on the Ryanair website from Dublin to Beauvais-Tille? For flying you'll find the cheapest options there (be aware Beauvais airport is closed for a week from June 3 to June 10, not sure if you're going then or not).
The other way to do it is to get to London (on a cheap flight or by taking a ferry from Dublin to Holyhead UK, then a train to London);
From London you can bus it to Paris with Eurolines for around 30 EUR, or you can take the Eurostar train which for a student with advance purchase can be had for around 45 EUR, but can get expensive if you buy near your travel date).
