Are you able to watch movies rented from Netflix or iTunes during an overseas flight?
Is there a fee for wifi in flight on Delta?

I was just watching movies on my iPad on a flight from Kansas to Phoenix the other day. But, I was able to fully download these movies before boarding the plane. When I rent movies from iTunes, I can download those in advance also. My mystery is Netflix. Can you fully download your rental movies from Netflix? On iTunes, the rental movie erases either 24 hours after you begin the movie or after 30 days if not watched whichever is completed first. I'm curious to see the Netflix rules. I'm not aware of fees or even wi-fi on the international flight on Delta.

No, you can't watch netflix. The movies need to be downloaded to watch them on an ipad.

Netflix streaming service is also not available in Europe, even if you have a US-based account.
