Ios to Crete

Is there any way to get to Crete from Ios early morning? I have a flight from Crete back to Germany at 1235 and would prefer to stay in Ios the night prior as opposed to Crete. Is there any way besides the ferry to get there?

Ferry would be the only way, there are very few lights between Islands. I would not risk staying on Ios the last night, even if there is an early ferry, there is always the chance that the ferry will run late or not at all.
