We are going to France in a few months, starting in Paris. We have a party of four (4). I understand the RER and shuttle route. I have heard about "grand" taxis that hold more than 2 or 3 people. How can they be found or this this just what is called a limo (how can they be found also.

Minivans. In the taxi rank just outside on the lower level. Use the ramp if you have a luggage trolly - - escalators won't take them and the elvevators get clobbered fast.

We were in Paris as a group of 4 a few months ago. There were numerous minivan taxis in the regular taxi lines at CDG and it was easy to flag one down. They easily accomodated 4 of us. You can make advance reservations if you want to, but we found this unnecessary.
