Has anyone used this pass? Does anyone know if this pass is restricted in the trains that it uses? I don't need 1st class, nor do I require high speed trains. Just a simple train to get me from Split to Zagreb....cheeply. Any suggestions?

InterRail passes are only usable by residents of Europe (like Europeans cannot use Eurail passes), so if you are living in Maine, don't worry about it.

John, As you're only taking one rail journey, a second class P-P ticket would be a much better idea than a Railpass. Whether you're travelling first class or second class, if the particular train you choose requires reservations, you'd have to pay separately for that. With a P-P ticket, reservations are included.
