I am trying to decide between two tickets..
One of them only has one change (in Karlsruhe), but is an hour longer and leaves at 8am
The other has two changes, but leaves at 11 (giving us more time to say goodbye to Switzerland)and is an hour shorter.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage to either or do I just need to make a choice?

Sorry, I should have mentioned, I'm using bahn.de and I see all of the trains. I'm just between these two because they still have the saver fare available and have fewer changes.

I would take the shorter/later train. One extra change is not a big deal---it is very easy.
