I will be flying into Paris in a couple months with my final destination being Barcelona. As of right now I have a flight booked into Paris-CDG (Delta), arriving at 6:10 am, and am looking at booking a ticket on one of the budget airlines from CDG to BCN. I see there is one that leaves at 7:40 am. Is 1.5 hours enough time to make it? Looks like Delta comes in at Terminal 2B and EasyJet leaves from Terminal 2E (or 2F can't remember). I am assuming after going through customs I'd have to leave through security, claim any checked bag (I'm hoping to carry on), then check in with EasyJet before going through security again? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Yeah, the more I look into it the more I don't think it'd work. Plus, my Delta flight has an on-time rating of less than 50%. Not good. I'll book the later flight and spend a couple hours exploring Paris. Thanks guys.
You run a real risk of not making it in time. Easyjet closes their check-in counters 40 minutes before departure....no ifs, ands, or buts....and if you miss that, you've missed the flight. That reduces your time to only 50 minutes, maximum, to make the flight......that, IMO, is cutting it far too fine.
And if your Delta flight is late....forget it. If you miss the Easyjet flight, you'll have to buy another ticket. Being late on the Delta flight will hold no weight with Eaysjet.
I think if you run fast you can make it
