Hi,
Does anyone have experience flying with injectable medicine on United and Wizz Air? There is a prescription with the patient's name, but we are bringing eight pens because our trip is long. They will be in our carry-on. Any personal experience would be appreciated! Thanks all!
It is security that will care about this and not with the airline itself.
In the U.S., here are the rules for injectable meds.

For other countries, you will need to check their rules.
Hi Laura! Thank you for the links! It didn't even occur to me that it was more of a security issue and not an airline one. Very helpful to know!
So, it could go either way with Wizz Air, depending on the security personnel. I've researched their website, but will go look over the security info for the airport itself (Madrid).
So here is what the Spanish airport site says:
How should I carry them? You should carry the relevant prescription with you. You must carry a medical certificate with you, if you have to carry objects in your hand luggage such as syringes or other objects included in any of the prohibited categories.
Here is the website:

Laura, thanks. I've been carrying them through TSA for years and didn't realize i needed to declare them. Oooops. I will be more correct in the future.
OP, do check out the laws where you are going and if in doubt, show them to the government inspector.
And again it has nothing to do with Wizz and probably very little to do with the inspector. And you need to check not with the airport, but with each and every country that you are entering and departing.
