Info on flight delay stats for a particular flight

Hi folks. What website do you like for information on how often a particular flight is on time vs delayed?
I need transportation from Marrakech to Casablanca, where the flight home originates. Short flight on Royal Air Maroc is an option and would take me straight to the airport with a couple of hours to spare. Vs train with transfer in the city, vs private transport (the most expensive option).

I'm leaning towards the flight but would like reassurance of reliability. Goes without saying that missing the transatlantic flight home would be a bummer.

Thanks!

If you can't afford to miss your flight back home leave the day before and spend a night in Casablanca. There are five direct flights a day between the two cities. I wouldn't rely flight delay history.

agreed that if this is a concern you might take pre-emptive action.

Even if flight history is good it doesn't say anything about what will happen with the flight you will be on - and that's the one that counts.

Hope you have a good journey home.

What time does the flight depart from Casablanca?

Which flight from Marrakech were you planning to take? (Picking a random date I see departures at 1030; 1130 and 130)

I do not disagree with the prior comments, but depending on your particular circumstance/flight times, a flight the day of may be reasonable. ( ...or not)

To answer your question, you can try flightaware.com. You can see 3 months of flight history as a basic (free) user. That should give you a reasonable snapshot of how things have been going.

(Of course, as they say in every financial disclaimer, past history is not a guarantee of future performance. But it's a good start.)

If it were me, I'd do the classic risk/reward analysis. And (without knowing how much your ticket home costs, but having a general sense of the cost of same-day, one-way trans-Atlantic tickets)...I would want a minimum of 4 hours of buffer for scheduled flight connection time (there, or anywhere) - this assumes you would be on two separate tickets, so if you miss your connection, the cost is all on you.

If going by train, I'd also want to be sure I arrived at the airport in Casablanca to check-in with a full 3 hours to spare before my international flight's departure time, so don't discount that either.

Flights will take around 2 hours, the train will take around 4 hours.

The train is perfectly comfortable, safe, relaxing, pleasant. There's a spur off the main Marrakech-Casablanca line that takes you right to the airport; I believe that in all cases you would need have to change trains there at that spur station (Casa Oasis).

I'm usually inclined to fly, but in this case, I'd take a good look at that train. You're going to be sitting somewhere for at least a few hours. I'd probably prefer to sit at least some of those hours on a train, rather than in the airport; you're still going to have to hang out at the airport either way (although, if you have access to a nice airport lounge in Casa before your flight, that might change your calculus slightly).

Thank you Eric for answering my question. Thanks all for the reminders of the buffer zone; I agree that this is now more important than ever, and typically do aim to arrive at the airport 3 hours before my flight. Joe, yes those are times for my day, with arrival at Casablanca airport at 1115, 1240, then 215. My flight to US departs 400.

Also thanks for reassurance about the train, I will look into that.

Appreciate your time and well wishes.
