Julie,

Your title was a bit vague, so it was just coincidence that I came across your question. You haven't provided much detail on your plans, but I'll try to offer some suggestions.

As I recall, Padre Pio is in the south (Napoli)? Which airport are you flying to? That will have a bearing on transportation. From Rome it's easy to reach Napoli via train.

I'd suggest using open jaw flights, inbound to Rome and outbound from Lisbon. Given the distance from Rome to Lisbon, budget airline is usually the best option. EasyJet has flights from Roma / FCO to Lisbon / LIS. As with any budget airline, be sure to PACK LIGHT.

It would help if you could provide more detail.

Cheers!

What details do need more on this info. I called some travel again and I was quited $1080. for air fare. $845. for Seattle to Rome, Rome to Lisbon, Lisbon to Seattle. Do you think thats a good price?

Julie,

I'd look at flying into Rome, then take one of the discount airlines between Rome and Lisbon (look at www.whichbudget.com to determine which airlines fly between Rome and Lisbon) and then fly home from Lisbon.

The cost would depend on which airport you're using to fly to and from Europe and your dates of travel.
