identity safety

Hello, We are a family traveling to Machu Picchu in the fall after hearing one of your shows a few months ago. The arranger in Urubamba emailed me & asked for "full names, passport numbers, nationalities and date of birth" in order to print tickets. I feel uneasy giving this out so far in advance. What do you think? Thank you,
Jeannie

I's not a big deal. In order to purchase international airplane tickets you have to provide the same exact info to the airline/agent.

I agree with Michael - it's nothing to worry about. Certain places need to have your names spelled out just like on your passport, and the passport number is just a number.

I have to provide those same details to my airline when I purchase tickets to Europe. There is nothing all that revealing about your passport number. It is onto etching to be concerned about.

Sally I have never been able to purchase a plane ticket without giving all that information out , I am not sure why you are uneasy about it.. its just what you have to do to get any airline tickets.
