Just wanted to let anyone who is flying Icelandair to Europe in the near future, that since Keflavik Airport is closed, that the airline is rerouting US to Europe flights through Glasgow. Europe to US flights are also coming back via Glasgow instead of Reykjavik. I am flying Icelanair in June, so I'm glad they have a contingency plan!

FYI--Iceland Express doesn't start flying to the U.S. until June 2.

Frank, I am specifically referring to Icelandair, not Iceland Express. I have no idea what Iceland Express is planning to do.

I realize that Anne, but the poster before you mentioned Iceland Express and I wanted to add the fact--to the entire board--that Iceland Express is not currently flying into the U.S. so people don't waste time trying to use it now as an alternative.
