Icelandair announced that they will start flying non-stop from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) 3 times per week this summer (May 26th is the first flight). Departing Mon, Wed & Saturday. Flights now available for booking on their Website. This will be the first non-Stop transatlantic air service from Kansas City to Europe.
Where are they flying to? you didn't say.
From all airports in the USA they fly non stops to Iceland. But then they have connecting flights to all of their regular cities all over Europe. Along with their free layover in Iceland for up to 7 days.
Go!!
I just did this from Vancouver to Reykjavik then on to Copenhagen, then back.
I stopped in R. for 4 nights, and 8 in C.
Well worth it; and both were amazing places, even on winter, or: because of winter!
When will Rick’s Iceland guidebook be available? Can it be preordered?
