Iceland Air Sale

Iceland Air often has sales, and the current one ends December 2nd and travel dates are through the end of March. I always look at their emails, but this one really panned out for us. Flying from Seattle, our flights are always on the higher end, but this time I was able to get r/t tickets booked for $548 each, Economy Standard. If you wan't to go Economy Light it is quite a bit cheaper, but you don't get a checked bag, etc. When I mentioned this deal to my husband, he said "book it!", as if I needed any encouragement;)

Another great deal for Iceland is that Center Hotels in Reykjavik are having their own Black Friday sale and rooms are 40% off. You must book before. Dec. 9th, but travel dates go to the end of May. This deal includes breakfast, early check in/late check out (if available) and a welcome drink. We have stayed at the Center Hotel's many times so knew this was a great deal and yes I booked it as well:) You can also book a 30% discount on gift cards that are good for 2 years. So you could purchase those now and then decide when you want to travel.

Adding at least from Minneapolis there were sale prices through May for select destinations. Also, I think RT in Saga Class was $1099.

From Seattle we often pay around $1000 just for economy standard. This is to Keflavik and not going on to mainland Europe even.

Mikliz97 I see several choices at Central Hotels. Do you have a favorite? Our son and DIL are looking for an end of March-April 1 week first trip. They aren’t renting a car but plan to book some experiences.

Mona—we have stayed at these three, multiple times each. Center Hotel Midgardur, Center Hotel Laugavegur, and Center Hotel Plaza. The first two are further from the heart of downtown but easily walkable. Plaza is smack in the heart of downtown and ironically the rates here are usually a bit less than the other two. Another bonus of plaza is that excursions pick up at bus stops and this is near bus stop 1, which is often the first stop.

Mikliz: I deleted the sale email but randomly checking Minneapolis to Copenhagen in Saga Class in April, price is $1120.
