I need help planning this European vacation

My husband and I are planning a trip to Europe in June/July of 2009 for three weeks. We are visiting his sisters in Breda and Paris. My question is what is the best way to plan this travel. While in The Netherlands we would also like to visit Amsterdam.

So the plan is to visit Amsterdam, Breda, Brussels and Paris. Is flying or taking the train the best way to go? We did London, Paris and Vienna back in 2006 and flew to each destination. Someone said that it would have been easier and cheaper if we had taken the train.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Thank you all for the quick responses. The train it will be. Thanks again.
George, Brugges has been popping up a lot in my research, I will take a closer look.

Trains are the most efficient to do it. For Amsterdam/Breda/Brussels you just simply use the regular inter-city trains. There will be at least one train an hour, no advance reservations needed just buy your ticket and hop on the next train going your way. For Brussels to Paris you will have to use the Thalys high-speed trains. Buy tickets in advance via www.thalys.com you; can get non-refundable/changeable tickets for as little as 25 euros if you book early enough.

Trains aren't necessarily cheaper than taking cheap flights. For the trip you're planning, trains work perfectly and drop you right in the town centers.

Carmen,

Trains are great and very conevenient... one other thought... Audrey and I do not generally like "Tourist Towns" but Brugges was a huge exception. You may want to plan a stop there for two or three days. You won't regret it. We liked Brussels also but a full day and the next morning should probably be enough. George
