I just call United to change my outbound flight, expecting to be on hold 2 hours plus. Hold time was 3 minutes!
To get a more comfortable connection time I changed my flights from PHX→IAH→ LHR to PHX→DEN→LHR. Also a route to hopefully avoid any weather delays. The negative imp in me hopes United flies the route the end of August and doesn't change my flight for the fifth time.

I hear you! Nothing is more frustrating than getting a flight all scheduled for your trip overseas and then have to go back redo it a couple of times before you actually leave. This will probably be the new reality for at least a year.

We called United yesterday and had no hold time. We were shocked.

A travel group I’m in (which actually has people who answer the phones and emails) says that call volumes and wait times have dropped for international because there’s not as many ‘what if’ calls which take forever and it’s useless trying to speculate what could happen 6 months from now. Domestic is still a mess.
