I'd appreciate feedback from anyone whose flown Condor airlines

I'm am looking at the route between Seattle to Frankfurt specifically but would like ANY feedback, good or bad about this airline. From what I have been able to find, it isn't ranked very well but what has been your experience with them? The time table sure fits better but do I go with a company I'm not familiar with or use a well known carrier (united) whose more expensive? Just a bit paranoid....

I have used them twice in the last three years for Seattle to Frankfurt. They are great...best prices for a nonstop out of Seattle. They are a large presence in Germany, just not here. Planes are fine, meal service is better than the domestic carriers we have. The best thing about Condor, though, is their Premium Economy. Those seats come with about 5 inches of extra leg room and better food. Moreover, the two times I have flown, the Premium Economy cabin has been about half full, so you could easily have two of those big seats. Premium Economy used to run only a few hundred dollars more, but I notice the price is creeping up. At any rate, even in Coach, you're fine with Condor.

My husband and I flew roundtrip on Condor last summer from Seattle to Frankfurt and it was a pleasant experience. We were in regular economy but the seats were plenty spacious for both of us and both of our seats reclined. The jet was a wide body so with two aisles it was easy to get up and move around every hour or so. Meal service was better than US domestic carriers, in my opinion, and we couldn't beat the price for the non-stop service between Seattle and Frankfurt.

An update. Just got back from flying Condor. Nice plane and GREAT entertainment system. Each seat has its own screen, outfitted with 100+CD's to listen to, first run movies, touch screen technology, airline path navigation map. One free cocktail, two meals (10 hour flight). Nice crew. Flew economy and plenty of room (your average plane seat). I wouldn't hesitate to fly them again.

We often take a repositioning cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Europe and fly back. We use Condor because they are one of the few airlines that has a reasonable one-way fare. The planes have always been comfortable enough in coach and the food is better than any US airlines I've ever flown. The movies are current, the staff is pleasant - never had a complaint. On our last trip back in 2013, we had a problem with an odd smell in the cabin. The captain decided to land the plane in the Azores rather than risk travelling over the ocean with an unidentified problem. We were put up in hotels, given food vouchers and treated very well. They flew in a second plane the next day and we just considered it a bonus vacation day on a pretty island.

Germans know how to travel well, and Condor is popular in Germany. I wish they had more airports available in Florida.
