I thought this was a good 4 part article on how to survive a plane crash. Some things were obvious but there were other points that I had not thought about. Rather lengthy but worth reading.

Lane - A nice article but isn't it a bit negative for all those looking to travel and enjoy themselves. Kind of reminds me of the movie French Kiss when Meg Ryan is so desperately afraid of flying and Kevin Kline says "don't worry - if the plane goes down you won't feel a thing."
On a more positive note I hope all travalers on the Helpline don't get too depressed reading the article you put up. The odds , as they say, are far better that you'll get hit by a car crossing the street.

Gosh darn it, I thought I had enough to worry about with packing light. Now, I have to think about frozen pitot tubes and carbon composite tails breaking off, too. Crap!
