we are in amsterdam and have already purchased the euro-rail global pass and we are wanting to go to paris. however, we saw that you need to make reservations for the train and we are confused on how you do this? any help?...

You will need to make reservations on the Thalys train to Paris. Simply head over to the ticket center at Centraal Station, and make your arrangements there. You should do this as early as possible as only a limited number of seats are available to pass holders per train.

Michael's suggestion is the best idea. One thing to add, DON'T forget to validate your Railpass and be sure to tell the agent that you're traveling with a Pass and only need to purchase the reservation.
