Hi, I will be going to Switzerland from Paris and then continue to Italy. My itinerary is roughly as below: 1st May Paris to Berne 2nd May Bern 3rd May Bern to Lucerne, Mt Pilatus 4th May Lucerne to Venice 5th May Venice, Italy 6th May Venice to Pisa 7th May Pisa, Italy 8th May Pisa to Rome 9th May Rome
10th May Rome to Amsterdam My question is how do I get to Venice by train from Lucerne and how long is the train ride? Thanks.
Winnie, The trip from Lucerne to Pisa is a minimum of 7H:10M with two changes (Milano Centrale and Firenze SMN). A departure at 08:18 would get you to Pisa at 15:28. You can check rail schedules using the German Rail Website. Happy travels!
Hi Ken, Thank you for your reply. I edited my itinerary a bit and instead of going to Pisa first, I will go to Venice, then Pisa, followed by Rome because I realised that there's no connecting flight from Venice to Amsterdam. I managed to go to the link that you provided but it does not allow any booking? May I know how can I buy the tickets?
