I'm planning to take a P&O ferry from Calais to Dover. But I am wondering how I could get to the Calais port from the nearest train station. Can I catch a bus? If so, where is it located? Also, where is the nearest train station to the Calais port?

There is free bus service between the Calais-Ville train station and the ferry port. See this page on the Direct Ferries site for the details.

The bus may not be free after all. Some sites (like Direct Ferries) say that it is. Others say that the fare is either 1.50 EUR or 2.00 EUR.
