Can you tell me what's the best way to get to Siena, we are arriving at the Florence airport next May and spending 4 days in Siena. Thank you.

Louise, This is the method I'd use.... > Take Airport Bus from FLR to Firenze SMN station. > Walk to the nearby SITA Bus station (as I recall, it's a couple of blocks to the southwest of the rail station, possibly on Via Santa Caterina da Siena - hopefully one of the others can confirm that). > By a ticket for the Bus to Siena. DON'T forget to validate! Larger luggage items will be placed under the Bus, but you can keep carry-on size items with you. > The trip will be about an hour, depending on whether you manage to connect with a Corse Rapide or Corse Ordinarie Bus. > You'll be dropped in Piazza Gramsci, which is in the main part of town. You could also travel by train from Firenze SMN. However, since the rail station is at the bottom of the hill, you'd have to take a Taxi up to the town. Happy travels!
