I'll be going to York in March and plan on purchasing a Britrail England Flexipass for train travel. My flight will come in at 7am in the morning. What is the best way to get from Heathrow to KingsCross station to catch my train?
What Tim said. Its straight forward, and cheap.
Take the Tube (Piccadilly Line) directly from Heathrow to Kings Cross/St Pancras. Trains run about every five minutes, the ride takes one hour, and the fare is 4.50 GBP.
If the Tube is not operating, take the train (Heathrow Connect or Heathrow Express) to Paddington Station. From there you can take a taxi or bus to Kings Cross.......I take the Tube. It's a ride of about an hour; luggage is no problem since the Tube cars will be almost empty when you board at Heathrow and you can choose your seat.
