How to buy a train ticket from Nice to Paris

I prefer http://www.tgv-europe.com/en/. It gives me the prices right upfront, and stays in English. I know French, but it's just easier for me to quickly scan timetables, etc., in English. Heck, even that's hard enough sometimes LOL! Where it says 's e l e c t your country', choose Great Britain so you don't get rolled to the Rail Europe website; likewise, when the box pops up...choose 'tgv-europe' (click on the 2nd button). You'll probably purchase either an e-ticket, or you'll collect your ticket at a French station. Either way, Bring The Credit Card You Purchased Your Ticket With! Even if it expires in the meantime, bring the old and new cc with you. You either print it out at home, or take a print out with a confirmation number on it to a ticket window at any French train station. If you arrive in France and stay a week before your trip, you can go ahead and pick up your ticket a week early - but don't lose it! You CAN'T use a ticket machine because (99.999% of) USA credit cards won't work; those machines require chip-and-PIN cards. I've done this; it's easy-peasy. Buy your ticket ASAP - the prices go up. Read the rules carefully - the best-priced tickets can't be exchanged or returned......although it looks like this particular route allows you to exchange your ticket (at least the day I've checked)......
