How long to change trains?

Are trains generally on time in Switzerland and Germany? I'm going from Grindelwald to Munich and 2 or 3 of my stops have 10 minutes time frames to change trains. Is this enough time?

If the trains are on time, 10 minutes is more than enough time. In my experience, when trains are late, they're really late. 20-30 minutes late.

Trains run pretty much on time. I think your changes are all small stations. At a small station you may just have to walk across a platform or you may have to walk down a flight of stairs, under the tracks and up another flight of stairs. A person in decent shape with only a carry-on can do it easily. Mobility problems or too much luggage might affect a persons ability to make the connection. In a large station you have to find the track for your new train which might take a little longer.

It would help if you gave us a couple of stations and times. I found one connectin on the Bahn website, with 6 min in Interlaken Ost. That shouldn't be a problem, a small station with only a few tracks. Next was Bern, from track 7 to track 4, a one platform change in 10 min. Again, no problem if you are prepared to get off when the train stops. Last was Zurich from track 7 to 14. Zurick is a head in station. If you are near the front of the train, go to the front of the train and take the cross connecting platform. It's all level, about a four platform change. If you are near the back, find the stairs to the tunnel - same thing, about 4 platforms. There will be large signs with the platform number by the stairs.
