We have finally gotten our paperwork/photographs/copies together for our IDPs. I am going to the AAA office to apply. Will I get my IDP then or will it come to me in the mail? If it comes in the mail, how long does it usually take?

It will take about ten minutes and they will hand it to you.

Sherry, I renewed my I.D.P. a few days ago, and as the previous reply mentioned the process takes about 10-minutes (including the photos). Of course the time may vary slightly depending on how busy the office is at the time. It's a very easy process! Note that the I.D.P. must be used in conjunction with your home D.L. so you'll need to take that too. Happy travels!
