How long does it take to get a rely from Rick Steves?

Does anyone know how long it might be from the time you send in a note to Steves rail tickets people, using the contact us button, until you get a response? I assume there are a lot of people contacting their office that way. I tried calling to get information about my rail pass planning but only got a busy signal, it may be my phone. I sent them an itinerary and am interested in getting their opinion on which rail pass to get. I leave for 94 days on January 21.

The answer may depend on how busy they are at the time. When did you send the request? I'm speculating a bit, but the huge tour event will be happening on 18 January, and the staff are likely working very hard on that. It would help to have some idea where you're located??? Your Profile doesn't show a location.

Have you posted information here on the Travel HelpLine regarding your Railpass plans? I'm sure the group can help with many of your questions.

You could also consider requesting a personal travel consultation by phone. I believe there's a charge of ~$50, but that would probably get the quickest answers.

I know there is a group here that will jump on this question being raised. You mentioned 94 days. I assume you are aware of the 90 limitation in the Schengen zone and that your travel plans cover this limitation. I only raise it because the the consequences of a violation are severe.
