Check with easyJet. If you have a reservation with them, they will have a page or two of info for you to print out. I think one hour early would be early enough. The tough part for me was finding the correct RER train for the trip to Orly. So allow plenty of time. If you miss easyJet's cutoff time, you will miss your flight. The desk crew packs up and goes to the departure gate. www.aeroportsdeparis.fr is a good website for info regarding travel to the airports of Paris. I think easyJet uses Orly airport; at least it did earlier this year.

Two hours early is probably the best. As noted, the easyjet crew at the check-in desks close up early and becomes the boarding gate crew....so check-in closes 40 minutes before flight time, no exceptions. I notice the only Paris-London flights seem to be Charles de Gaulle airport to Luton airport. In that case, they fly out of Terminal 2B. Terminal 2 is the second CDG airport stop on the RER. From downtown Paris, it takes anywhere from 30-50 minutes to make the run to the airport, depending on where you board. Just make sure you're on the right RER B train, the B3, since it splits into two different routes outside Paris before it reaches CDG.

You should always plan on getting to the airport at least 2 hours before a flight. One never knows if there will be a traffic jam on the road, a delay with the trains, and so on and so on. I have had so many people tell me they went to the airport X amount of times and it only took 45 min. etc. and so they went out there the next time with only an hour to spare and guess what, security took longer then they thought, or an accident slowed up traffic and they missed their flight. Buy a book, shop in the airport stores, or people watch if you have extra time.
