How early can I validate French TGV Tickets ?

I have purchased a ticket from Paris Gare du Lyon to Chamonix Mont Blanc with a connection thru Bellegarde and St Gervais les Bains le Fayet ( a combination of TGV and TER trains) . It is the only available ticket at the time of booking with very short connection times of around 15 mins at each connecting stations. As the TER tickets are issued on the standard TGV tickets sizes, would it be possible for me to validate ALL the tickets on the day of departure at the first departing station to safe time and hassle of locating the validating machine in transit and risk missing the connecting trains ?

It sounds like you got a separate ticket for each leg of the trip? That's never happened to me before; I always just validated the ticket before my first leg. Without having first checked the TGV/TER sites, most validations are only good for a certain amount of time (for instance, 90 minutes), and by the time you arrive at your final destination your last tickets may not be valid anymore and that could result in a large fine. Otherwise, you'll need to validate your ticket at each station - the validation boxes are usually nearby on the platform (and usually yellow). 15m to transfer between trains should be plenty of time...but don't hesitate to ask for assistance in locating the validation boxes as soon as you depart the train.
