How early can I book a train and where do I get the best rates?

I want to book rail travel in June for Rome-Munich sleeper and Aachen-Paris. How early can I book this? Where are the best deals Family of 4 youths 15 & 16 eurorailways.com seems to be really expensive. DB seems to be better. Any other options?

For trips with at least one end in Germany, use the German Rail (Bahn) website. Go directly to the rail companies. Resellers like RailEurope and Eurorailways add their own profit. Discounted tickets are non-exchangeable and have limited refundability. They go on sale 92 days before travel time. Book as soon as you can commit to get the best fares.
