How do you cancel a flight on EasyJet?

Due to a medical situation which cropped up prior to my long-awaited, much anticipated RS Adriatic tour, I was forced to cancel the tour:( Upon the completion of the tour, I had us flying out of Dubrovnik to Amsterdam via EasyJet. I am trying to file all the necessary paperwork to collect on the travel insurance and credit card cancellation benefit for reimbursement. The flight was non-refundable, but I just want to cancel the flight as, obviously, I won't be on that plane, and the insurance travel insurance/credit card e-claim portal ask if you have cancelled your flight. When you go on the EasyJet site and click "Manage my Bookings", there is the ability to change your flight, but no way to cancel a flight. What the heck? Am I missing something? I see there is the possibility to claim a refund or a voucher due to a medical event that requires their medical form completed and a doctor's letter ( I plan to do that), but no way just to cancel.

Anyone have any experience with cancelling EasyJet flights?

Joe32F, yes, as I mentioned in my post, I did see that. Even though my doctor provided a letter, I am now waiting for him to complete EasyJet's Medical Declaration Form, so that I can upload it into their portal so that I can file the "Cancel due to a serious illness", which is a series of steps to go through. However, it seems to me that there still should be some way to just click so that you can cancel a flight immediately - just like every other airline. I had a flight booked on Transavia, another low-cost airline, and it was just a matter of clicking on a button to cancel the fight. What do people do if they need to cancel the next day? Just not show up?

I had the same problem when Covid caught me in Italy in March. I needed to cancel an EasyJet flight from Catania to Naples and spent an appalling amount of time looping around their website and chatbot looking for a cancel button, phone number or email address. The closest I came was a form for requesting a refund for a flight missed due to illness. It required a letter from the Health Department that I didn’t have and couldn’t get readily.
So I ate the cost - luckily for a short one-way flight. Then I got an email from EasyJet thanking me for flying and asking me to rate the flight! I did so but never heard back from them😉
I hope you get your refund.

Deb, I'm glad it's not just me. Hard to believe that EasyJet does not have an easy way to cancel their flights. What could be their motive? I don't think I would even bother going through their torturous process if it wasn't for the fact that my travel insurance wants to know if I cancelled the flight before they consider paying. I will certainly think twice before booking with them in the future or, at least, I will go for a refundable flight.
