I'm visiting a friend in New Hope Pa in September and he can't drive in to pick me up at JFK. He's an older gentleman and for him it's a long journey. What's the best way for me to make that trip? He could get to Trenton rail station, if that makes it easier.
Thanks! Maggie
You can take the NYC Airporter bus from JFK to Penn Station. Then there are trains from Penn Station to Trenton all day long. Here are a couple links: http://www.nycairporter.com/ http://www.njtransit.com/ Click on Schedules and Fares, then Train (then select "New York Penn Station" as your origin station)
It at all possible try to fly to Newark Airport instead of JFK. There is a NJ Transit rail station at the airport, and direct trains to Trenton are available twice an hour weekdays.
If you must use JFK take the Airtrain to Jamaica Station. For there there are LIRR trains to Penn Station. From Penn Station you can pickup those same trains to Trenton.
if u are definitely going to jfk, take airporter to penn station, then amtrak train
Thanks! I have to go to JFK- the ticket was booked a long time ago, and the original plan was to go straight into NYC. But you know how it is with the best laid plans.... ;-)
Thanks again for the help, it's much appreciated. Maggie
