I will be in Athens at the end of Sept and just found out tht the group I am going with doesn't supply a transfer from the Athens Arion Hotel. Does anyone know any way to get to the airport other than taxi?

Ya, brand new, metro train. As your hotel how far you are from a station.

And if the metro is down or on strike, take the bus if that's not too beneath you.
