hotel near Dublin Airport?

We have an overnight "layover" in Dublin on our way home, and we were going to spend the afternoon, but our flight was just canceled and we were bumped to the later flight, so we'll arrive around 10 pm. I don't know if I want to go all the way into the city, since we won't really have time to do anything, and I'm thinking of canceling our current hotel booking. Does anyone know of a good hotel by the airport? Thanks!

There are a number of hotels within walking distance of the airport. Clarion, Radison, Travelodge, Holiday Inn Express, Bewleys Hotel Dublin Airport (which gets great reviews on TripAdvisor). We didn't stay but thought we might when lots of flights were being canceled due to flooding in UK. Just google dublin airport hotels. Sorry I can't give personal recommendation and I don't think they are real cheap.

We've stayed at both the Clarion (formerly Holiday Inn) and at the Radisson (formerly Great Southern). They are both on the airport property, a very short van ride to the terminal, and have free service there 24 hours a day. The Clarion is cheaper (not that the word 'cheap' applies to anything in Dublin) and is perfectly acceptable. We'll be staying there one night in a couple of weeks.

There are some just-off-airport properties that may be less expensive but I have no experience with them.

The Clarion (formerly Holiday Inn as the previous poster mentioned) is worth looking into. Flight Crew with layover of less than 24hrs stay there. Longterm contract with no significant problems.

We'll be in a similar situation. Can you recommend a hotel near the airport now?
