Hotel for last night in Paris on the way to DeGaulle?

Where should we stay for ONE last night in Paris after returning that day from Nice via TGV? We'll fly out of DeGaulle the next moring at 10:45AM. Don't want to stay in some featureless area of of Paris but, thinking I'll put us a little more convenient to the airport if possible and still have a one last great night in Paris. On previous nights we will have stayed in Rue Cler area which looks further away. Suggestions for best place to be coming off the train from Nice and then wanting to go early the next day to DeGaulle?

You'll arrive at Gare de Lyon. Easy transfer to the RER A to Opera. In the morning, RoissyBus to CDG. Its one option.

Nice active area. Printemps and Galleries Lafayette nearby. Plenty of restaurants and cafes. Easy transport by Metro to virtually anywhere in Paris.
Thinking in terms of painless transfer to CDG in the morning, as well as minimum transfers from Gare de Lyon.

Another option is to stay near the St. Michel or Luxembourg stops of the RER line B, which goes right to CDG airport with no changes. There are many hotels in these areas, and it's a great neighborhood.

We stayed at the Hotel Brighton, right on the Rue Rivoli, this past Sept. Wonderful location and excellent price. We were at first given a regular sized room, but no view. Fortunetley they did have one with a view of the Tullieries, directly ahead, the Eiffel tower to the right, Louvre to the left. It was a tiny room, with a tiny balcony, but the view was fantastic. The opera area is only a few blocks behind.

Not exactly, I was thinking by the Opera. There is a Hotel Residence Orion Hausmann right there. Full disclosure, I have never stayed there (I stay in the 10th, not recommended for general public). Here is my reason. It is 100 ft from the exit of the Auber RER station. It is another 100 ft to the RoissyBus stop that goes to CDG. The going price now is 200 Euro/night (no idea what future rates are) The going rate at the Brighton is 350 Euro/night (future?).
Here is the website, it mentions elevator and disabled friendly. http://www.orion-international.net/en/Orion-Paris-Haussmann.html When all is said and done, you can just get a cab and go anywhere.

Sam really provides an elegant solution that minimizes the travel you'd have to do both on arrival from Gare de Lyon and in the morning to the airport, PLUS puts you right in the heart of an interesting area for your last night. Others are thinking of what worked for them, but may not be as conscious of the mobility issues you have described in another post. As someone who lives here, I think you'd be well served by following Sam's suggestion.
