Looking for reasonable accomodations for 4 adults the night before a very early flight out of the DaVinci airport. Would consider staying further away from the airport if I could be confident in the ground transport getting us to the airport on time. Help would be much appreciated!

Lots of prior discussions of this: here's just one link to get you started: getting to FCO from the cityFind other discussions by searching on "FCO" or "Fiumicino" or "Rome Airport" "Fiumicino Hotels", and similar phrases, in search box upper right.Typical airport hotels will probably not accommodate 4 adults in one room. Apartments will be difficult to find near the airport and for one night only. Therefore, your best bet is probably to stay in town and have the hotel arrange for a taxi or van large enough to hold 4 adults and their luggage, to pick you up at the required time. The prior discussions have all that info.Tip: You may not have gotten any replies to this frequently asked question because you used the other name for the Fiumicino FCO Rome airport; technically Da Vinci is its other name but many people don't know it by that name.

I would suggest going to www.tripadvisor.com. A search by the airport name will show hotels available and readers' comments. In two trips, we have found great great hotels, at good prices, with easy airport access at Heathrow and Genoa.
