My husband and I are flying from Venice to Paris next month. We will arrive at the Charles De Gaulle airport at 10:30 pm and will fly out the next morning back to the states at 10:30am. We do have to be back at the CDG airport 2 hours ahead which 8:30am. What hotel at the airport with good shuttle service for transport to the hotel and back to the airport next morning. We only have a few hours but would like to rest for the long flight back. We are looking for a moderate price room, clean and a reliable shuttle service.
ETAP might still be on the sign, but it's probably listed as Budget Ibis. The Accor shuttle runs constantly and will have you to any terminal in ten minutes.
There is a sheraton hotel directly attached to CDG if that might work for you: http://www.starwoodhotels.com/sheraton/property/overview/index.html?propertyID=125
It's ON the airport. Inside the fence. Seventeen rock throws. Fifty-six spits. If the bus dies, you could walk to the Terminal 2 in ten minutes, but you'd have to walk the roadway. There's also a Formule 1 next door, rooms are the same except F1 has the terlet and shower down the hall, but it saves a couple of bucks. There's a Premiere Classe on the other side, but I don't know how their shuttle works. In the same clump, there's both a Campanille and Hippo restaurant. All are exactly three spits apart, considering no-wind conditions.
The hotel mentioned by Ed is part of the Accor chain. Accor provides free shuttle bus service to and from the airport between 5:15 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Go here for detailed information and booking. Another option would be to stay at the Ibis Paris CDG Airport Hotel (also part of the Accor chain). It's located right next to Terminal 3 at CDG and a stop on the free 24/7 CDGVAL driverless shuttle train that connects all the terminals. It would only take you a few minutes to get from there to your departure terminal. FYI, it's wise to be at CDG a full three hours before a flight across the Atlantic.
I recommend the Ibis at terminal 3 - it's right by the train station if you want the RER and the shuttle trains between terminals and you can walk to it from Terminal 3 as it's just across the road which is easy to cross. The rooms are quite new, they are smallish but clean and more than adequate for a night. There are several restaurants, a bar, internet connected PCs in the lobby and the price is pretty good for an on airport hotel. You won't need a shuttle service - just use the existing airport train shuttle service. I stayed there one night last September and took the shuttle train adjacent to the hotel to Terminal 2
